Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or playing Scuttl ("the Game"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not connect your wallet or play the Game.

2. Description of the Game

Scuttl is a browser-based skill game in which players track a hidden token across shuffling wallets over 10 rounds of increasing difficulty. The Game includes optional in-game purchases ("Rug Pulls") for 0.01 SOL per use, which eliminate one incorrect wallet during gameplay.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to play the Game and make in-game purchases. By connecting your wallet, you represent that you meet this requirement. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the Game complies with all laws applicable in your jurisdiction.

4. Wallet Connection and Transactions

The Game requires you to connect a Solana-compatible wallet (such as Phantom or Solana Mobile Wallet). By doing so, you acknowledge and agree that:

• You are the sole owner and controller of the connected wallet
• All transactions require your explicit approval within your wallet application
• All SOL transactions are final, irreversible, and processed on the public Solana blockchain
• Transaction fees (gas/priority fees) are determined by the Solana network and are your responsibility
• We are not responsible for failed transactions, network congestion, wallet errors, or any loss of funds resulting from technical failures outside our control

5. In-Game Purchases — Rug Pull

The Rug Pull feature costs 0.01 SOL per use. By initiating a Rug Pull purchase:

• You confirm you understand the transaction and its cost before approving it in your wallet
• You acknowledge that all purchases are final and non-refundable
• You understand that purchasing a Rug Pull does not guarantee a win — it only eliminates one incorrect wallet option
• Rug Pull charges are credited to your account upon successful payment and are not redeemable for SOL or any other currency

6. No Gambling

Scuttl is a skill-based game. There is no wagering, no prize pool, no guaranteed return of funds, and no element of chance beyond the random positioning of wallets which all players face equally. In-game purchases are for gameplay features only and do not constitute gambling under applicable law. You are responsible for determining whether playing the Game is lawful in your jurisdiction.

7. Leaderboard

Your wallet address and win count may be publicly displayed on the Game's leaderboard. By playing the Game, you consent to this display. We reserve the right to remove any entry from the leaderboard at our discretion, including entries we believe to have been obtained through cheating or exploitation.

8. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Attempt to manipulate, exploit, or cheat the Game's scoring or shuffle systems
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the Game
• Use bots, scripts, or automated tools to interact with the Game
• Interfere with the Game's servers, databases, or infrastructure
• Impersonate other players or use another person's wallet address

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE GAME IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE MAKE NO WARRANTIES REGARDING UPTIME, ACCURACY, SECURITY, OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. THE GAME MAY BE UNAVAILABLE AT ANY TIME WITHOUT NOTICE.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF FUNDS, LOSS OF DATA, OR LOSS OF PROFITS, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE GAME, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM THE GAME SHALL NOT EXCEED THE TOTAL AMOUNT OF SOL YOU HAVE SPENT ON IN-GAME PURCHASES IN THE THIRTY (30) DAYS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Scuttl and its operators from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Game, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any applicable law.

12. Changes to the Game and Terms

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Game at any time without notice. We may update these Terms at any time. The effective date will be updated accordingly. Continued use of the Game constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration on an individual basis. You waive any right to bring claims as a class action.
